Privacy Statement

All information we are provided with or made party to will remain confidential. We will not disclose any information about an individual to any third party without express permission from them, nor discuss details of their relationship with us, unless we have sought agreement. Similarly, we will not seek information regarding an individual from third parties without written permission.

We will maintain a confidential written record of all contacts and meetings which are made on a person’s behalf. The client is entitled to view any information we might record in this manner, if they so wish.

There are exceptional circumstances, however, when we might have a duty to disclose certain information eg where we may be obliged by law, where information we are privy to impacts on the safety and protection of a vulnerable child or adult, where the person is believed to be at risk of harm, either from their own behaviour or that of others, or where we are aware there is any potentially criminal activity. Should we be required to divulge information, we will endeavour to inform the individual of our course of action and to explain our reasons.
