If you are interested in a volunteering opportunity with BIAS, we would really like to hear from you.
You could volunteer as a Board Member (Trustee) or as an advocacy worker.
All our volunteer advocacy workers are trained, have regular support and are bound by codes or conduct and confidentiality. Download an advocacy worker volunteer application form.
Volunteers are required to undergo a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check through Disclosure Scotland to safeguard our clients.

I finally felt that someone was on my side.
Advocacy enabled me to challenge my diagnosis.
I feel more confident knowing I am able to question my care.
I was able to participate in the process.
